PoorI just simply don't get it, this book start with the essay pod (pattern of development), which is a horrendous way to say method. I'm already in the page 21 and I can't figure it out what a TR is or a TS mean, and the pod bases on that kind (many more) of abbreviations you can also found delta (or something like that, a triangle upward and downward, there is also some this delta/triangle in different sizes!) and pods depends on that.
Fist part of the book are so frustrating because is so wrongly faced, methods (pods) don't have to be short mathematical like formulas fulfill of TR, TS, ES ,... .
For example, the note of an example conclude with a annoying statement ".. If you fell lost, consult your patterns, and you have a ready-made formula ..." (page 21) the example actually was pretty good written an easy, but the readymade formula is at least silly portrayed, and that's the core of the essays tips (methods) the infamous pods.
Very Exact in MethodI recommend this book because it brings all the components together in the writing. For instance, it shows how to compare and contrast items in essays. That is the biggest thing on the TOEFL because we have to read and listen and then write an essay pointing out the likenesses and differences.
